Rustic/Vintage Styled Wedding Shoot
I'm going right back to late September last year with these images, I really should have shared them sooner but we had so much interest in shoot with it being featured on some fantastic wedding blogs that I decided to hold back and share when the fuss had died down !
So what's a "styled wedding shoot" all about ? Well this one was about a number of things, it was about coffee and cake, having fun, being creative, bringing together a group of wedding professionals (who happened to all be women), getting to know each other and experience each others products and services, chatting about business and weddings & promoting each other. Its a true collaboration with everyone providing their goods and services without charge and receiving professional images in return and it's a testimony to the power of Social Media. It all started from a chance exchange of tweets between myself and Heidi, a very talented tiara and brooch bouquet maker, which evolved into Facebook comments and email exchanges when we realised that we both loved the idea of putting together a styled shoot. After coffee & cake in Manchester we knew we shared the same vision, ideas bounced backwards and forwards and we managed to bring together a great team of people in a fantastic location - keep scrolling to the bottom for all the names & links !
We were happy to have use of a fantastic venue, The Wellbeing Farm, in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Bolton. We had our "bride" in aspiring model Maddy and James from the farm also "volunteered" and although he hadn't modelled before he was also wonderful.
Heidi of Glorious Tiaras made the amazing tiaras and vintage brooch bouquets that you see throughout the images.
Laura of Love My Trike provided a vintage ice cream tricycle, known as Tilly, along with ice cream related props and Jane from Pearlie Queen Collectibles provided further vintage props.
And lastly (but definitely not least!) Vintage Lane kindly provided the genuine vintage wedding dresses and the highly talented Jaki Ann did a amazing job of hair and make-up.

Plans are currently being hatched for a follow up shoot which will be in Derbyshire in early June and there's a seed of an idea forming for shoot number three in autumn - if you are in the wedding industry and would like to be involved in any of our future please get in touch with either Heidi (www.glorioustiaras.co.uk) or myself - we would love to hear from you !!
