Buttercups & Posh Frocks | A Stylish Equine Photoshoot | Lancashire
Well I have to say this really was a special shoot, three gorgeous girls all dressed up, a selection of beautiful horses and glorious fields of buttercups, what more could I ask for ! It's taken a few weeks for me to blog this shoot because I've been spoilt for choice as to which images to include !
So here they are, Alice, Tasha & Rosie, three lovely girls with make-up expertly provided by Jaki Ann Makeup Artist (follow the link to contact Jaki on Facebook).
I was really excited when I realised that the buttercup fields belonged to the stables and we were able to shoot in them. I love the bold colour but I just couldn't resist editing some in black and white too (anyone who knows me will know how passionate I am about black & white photography!!) and I was so pleased that they looked great without the colour too.
It was so difficult to choose the images that I just picked a random selection for each of the girls, I love that each set of images shows how much their horses mean to them.
I'm also overjoyed to have won my first national award with the Guild of Photographers for my equine photography for this beautiful portrait of Tasha & her horse.
