Family Photoshoot in the Snow | Family Photography Bolton
I'm busy trying to catch up with blog posts and this lovely family shoot is one that I just have to share, I really didn't expect that I'd be posting this in late March with very similar weather though. Although I think its actually much colder now than on this snowy day in January !
Ava's parents had got in touch to book a shoot for her first birthday and we picked a Saturday in January and kept our fingers crossed for the weather. I love winter shoots with everyone wrapped up warn and cosy in hats and scarves and I was really pleased that mum and dad weren't put off by the fact that we had snow on the ground and the odd flurry still falling. There's something quite special about shooting portraits in the snow, the light is so lovely and soft, bright but gentle at the same time.
Here's a collection of some of my favourites from the day,
So for anyone who's on Easter holidays with the kids and has some snow, get them wrapped up and capture some images of them having fun in the snow, one day you'll be able to look back and laugh at the Easter it snowed !
